A expression of dealcoholized Muscat Blanc. Offering a crisp, clean and refreshing nose which opens up to a well-structured pallet full of notes of elderflower, white peaches and gooseberry. Elegant and refined.

Service: Serve chilled at 7 to 10° C in a flute glass.

Food Pairing: Excellent with pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, pasta in white sauce, cheese, and vegetarian dishes or served as an aperitif.

He bought wine estates so Veuve Ambal could produce top Crémant from their own vineyard. Thanks to him, Veuve Ambal is the number one producer & brand of Crémant de Bourgogne. These days, total vineyard covers 250 ha making them among the biggest producers in Burgundy.

In 2005, after spending over a century in its original cellars in Rully, Veuve Ambal built modern premises close to Beaune and soon after got IFS & BRS certification. But also started to produce a range of organic wines. Aurélien Piffaut, Eric’s son, joined the business in 2010 & represents the 6th generation.

Anne Marie Ninot was born in Rully in 1859 and got married to a Parisian banker, Antoine Emile Ambal 20 years later. They moved to Paris & had two children. When her husband died, Marie returned to Rully and took interest in her brother’s business, he was a “negociant” but also a grower.

It was the beginning of “Champagne Method” wines so Marie decided to create her own “Maison” in 1898. She straight away bottled red & white sparkling and quality was soon recognized among the best in Burgundy. In 1929, Charles Roux her grandson, took over until his death in 1988. Year when his grandson, Eric Piffaut, joined the family business and became CEO the same year.
