Meet the Winemaker
Eva López, the winemaker and David, the winery owner are childhood friends with similar passion for wines. David´s family have been wine-growers since 1920 and they used to sell their quality grapes to the most important and well known wineries from the Rueda region. In 2011 they decided to build their own winery and today have one of the top wines in the region.
About the Vineyard & Estate
The 60 hectares of vines are planted at almost 800 m high on gravelly soil, with both clay and sandy subsoils, in the heart of the Duero river basin. The continental climate with thermal differences between day and night creates the right balance between the ripeness of the grapes and its acidity.
