D.O. Central Valley, Central Valley, Chile
100% Chardonnay | 13.0% ABV
We are delighted to present this Chilean white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes in the Central Valley region of Chile. This wine is low in acidity and is recommended to drink cold on spring evenings. Familia Correa Lisoni's Superior Line is characterized by a greater respect for the fruit and selected fine wood, to deliver a wine of excellent price-quality ratio.
Golden yellow colour. On the nose the notes of tropic fruits stand out, like pineapple and mango, plus an interesting touch of fresh apple. The palate is soft, but with a body present.
Great with cheese, chicken, fish, pasta in cream sauce, pork and vegetarian dishes.
Best served at 10 - 13°C.
Wine maker & CEO Jose Tomás Correa Lisoni works hard producing world-class wines, that are sold on the five continents. He believes "Imposing a distinctive seal of perfect balance between fresh fruit, terroir and balanced vinification to deliver a high-quality product" is what his winery stands for.
This family-owned 5th generation winery is at 500 Hectares spread over three different wine regions: Colchagua, Rapel, and Maule Valley. The Chilean Central Valley is a South American area that includes some of the country’s largest regions. Because of its size, there are several climates and soil types that can be found in the Central Valley, which allows for a vast variety of grapes to thrive here.
Generally, the climate is cool with dry summers and mild
winters. This creates the ideal circumstances to grow just about anything – which is why the Central Valley is the
major producing area of Chile. Although the region often experiences droughts, floods, volcanic eruptions, and
earthquakes, the vines are capable of overcoming it all.
1* Up & Coming
Founded in 1902, Bodegas Tagua Tagua has been family-owned for over a century, crafting wines from their own 100 hectares of vineyard in Chile’s Rapel Valley. The estate’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that vineyard work is the foundation of great wine. Owning and managing their own vines allows the team to know every parcel intimately, carefully selecting grapes to ensure consistent quality year after year.
Sustainability is seen as essential to the winery’s future. The team continually invests in research and innovation, exploring new packaging and transportation solutions that reduce environmental impact—crucial for a business with strong export markets. Measures to optimise irrigation, reduce water loss, and site new plantings away from areas at risk of forest fires reflect their proactive approach to climate challenges.
In the cellar, the winemaking style seeks harmony—balancing the influence of oak with the pure expression of the fruit. Barrels are used thoughtfully to extend their life, helping to minimise the environmental footprint and reduce demand for new timber. The result is approachable, well-balanced wines that retain the character of their grape varieties.
Bodegas Tagua Tagua is also a leader in sustainable packaging, with over 85% of production bottled in eco or recycled glass, complemented by recycled cardboard. Powered by 100% renewable electricity and guided by clear ethical sourcing criteria, the estate combines heritage with a forward-looking vision.
Looking ahead, the aim is clear: to position San Vicente de Tagua Tagua as a centre for Chile’s luxury wines while continuing to produce the high-quality, accessibly priced wines that have earned them a loyal following worldwide.
