Domaine des Girasols Rasteau has a beautiful garnet colour, an appealing and very delicate nose of red fruit accompanied by woodsy and spicy notes, all with a great elegance. On the palate, there is a bold structure with silky tannins.

Meet the winemaker Francoise Joyet-Larum who is in charge of the activity of the estate. Her goal is to produce wines that express both power and harmony.

ln 1974, Paul and Marie-Elisabeth Joyet left Lyon to settle on a beautiful vineyard in Rasteau. Reading through an agricultural dictionary, dating from 1750, they came upon the name Girasols. This family-run estate is situated in an outstanding location facing the Dentelles de Montmirail
mountains and Mont Ventoux. At the foot of the medieval village of Rasteau, their vineyard, terraces, and hills extend around the cellar and the house. The wines of Girasols are fine, and express the power and the harmony of the terroir.

Domaine des Girasols covers an area of 16 hectares, located in the town of Rasteau, a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in south-eastern France. The Domaine enjoys one of the most beautiful settings in the region, as well as benefitting from exceptional terroir.

Vinification: Regarding the growing conditions, the vineyard is managed using responsible farming practices, and the harvesting is carried out manually. The old vines are more than 50 years old, and some even exceed 100 years.
