100% Pinot Noir | 13% ABV
Notes of violets and sweet bramble fruits on the nose whilst the palate opens with black cherry and juicy ripe plum before finishing with some spice.
Service: Serve at 15-18°C.
Food Pairing: Excellent with hard cheese, game, Pasta in a tomato based sauce, poultry, lamb and vegetarian dishes.
Founded in 1927, the Azé cellar now vinifies 270 hectares of vines under the leadership of Denis Charlot. It has carved out a fine reputation for its white wines, without neglecting its Pinot Noirs and sparkling wines, without forgetting its original sweet vintage.
With an annual production of 20,000 bottles, Cave d'Aze produces wine in stainless steel vats to retain acidic freshness as well as a balanced structure.
Cellaring: Enjoy within 3 years of the vintage.
Vinification: Vinification begins in stainless steel vats, then in oak barrels and tuns. The duration of aging in wood varies according to the vintage.
