Authentique Wine Cellar
Nicholas Keeler’s deep connection to wine stems from his grandfather, a wine merchant in Germany. His love for travel, food, and art led him to enrol in UC Davis classes, pass the sommelier exam, and work harvests alongside skilled winemakers. Nicholas explains, “I use the finest, forest-origin-specific French oak barrels and upright tanks to ferment and age my wines. The result is a seamless integration of extra-tight grain oak with compact tannins, preserving the fresh aspect of the wines – one of the great signatures of Authentique.”
Keeler Estate Vineyard is located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA near Amity, Oregon, with a commitment to sustainable viticulture. The vineyard benefits from tempering Pacific breezes via the Van Duzer Corridor, offering optimal conditions for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With soils shaped by ancient oceanic residues, volcanic activities, and the Missoula floods, Keeler Estate produces wines with a unique terroir. Their single-vineyard-designate wines are certified organic and biodynamic, and the estate embraces biodiversity, fostering a vibrant ecosystem. Nicholas Keeler’s passion for quality is evident in every aspect of his work, and he plans to extend this attention to detail when building a sustainable winery.
