1* Up & Coming
Nestled in the picturesque Loire Valley’s Muscadet region, Domaine des Tilleuls is a family-owned estate with more than a century of winemaking heritage. Founded in 1905 and in the hands of the current owners for over 40 years, the estate today manages 35 hectares of land, with 90% dedicated to vines.
Guided by the principles of sustainable agriculture and certified under France’s High Environmental Value (HEV) scheme, the vineyard is cultivated with a deep respect for the land. Each intervention in the vineyard is carefully tailored to the season’s climate, the condition of the soil, and the natural rhythms of the vine’s life cycle.
In keeping with their commitment to environmental stewardship, Domaine des Tilleuls balances traditional expertise with forward-looking sustainability practices. Soil health is monitored regularly, with improvements made through cover cropping, compost, and reduced tillage. While the use of synthetic inputs is kept moderate, the estate is actively exploring biological controls and alternative treatments to ensure healthier vines and a thriving ecosystem.
The wines of Domaine des Tilleuls are the product of a philosophy rooted in authenticity and place. The family takes pride in crafting Muscadet wines that express their terroir, upholding universal values of quality, dedication, and sharing. Every bottle tells a story - one of care, craftsmanship, and connection to the land.
With aspirations to expand their presence in markets across the globe, Domaine des Tilleuls remains committed to preserving its environmental legacy for future generations while elevating its reputation as a respected name in the region.
