Denis Bouchacourt Pouilly-Fuissé "Feuille de Laurier" 2014
AOC Pouilly-Fuissé, Burgundy, France
100% Chardonnay | 13% ABV
Discover this French white wine made with 100% Chardonnay grapes from Burgundy. The classic 2014 vintage works well with this wine, creating a delicious blend of traditional white Burgundies flavours of hazelnut and lemon while remaining lifted and fresh. This is particularly beautiful with seafood in cream sauce.

Bright golden yellow robe. Mineral nose with a hint of woodiness and hazelnut. The attack is very supple with a slight taste of menthol. The wine is round, full-bodied, with a mellow woodiness. Good length and mineral finish with a touch of vanilla.
Service: Serve chilled at 7-13°C.
Food Pairing: Excellent with pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, pasta in white sauce, cheese, and vegetarian dishes.
Meet the winemaker: Denis Bouchacourt
The 5.5-hectare 3rd generation domaine is located in Solutré, planted to hillsides.
This area is a little hotter with less frequent rainfall than other areas in the north of Burgundy. These Mediterranean influences means that the grapes ripen slightly faster than in the other winegrowing areas of the region which influence the personality of the wines. Limestone sub-soil lies across much of the terrain.
